Received an interesting letter from Mike Parker in Thailand who started his career as a drummer with the Ensigns and the Barrel Gang from Barnard castle in the mid-sixties.

He went on to play with Grapefruit, Juicy Lucy. Pickettywitch, Chicory Tip, White Plains, Don Fardon, Mac & Katie Kassoon, Dollar, Paul Young and Chris Farlowe's backing band. Certainly an impressive line-up. If it keeps going at this rate we will have to start an international section :>)

Important Announcement: The first club night will take place on June 8th at Tudhoe Victory Club starting at 8:00pm.

It is hoped to keep the format of the evening as informal as possible to give people to opportunity to catch up on what has been happening during the last 45yrs or so.

It will also enable us to gauge the amount of interest generated by the web site and recent press coverage and hopefully produce a few brave souls who are prepared to perform a couple of the songs we all grew up with.
